as said in the other topic it is a big job, dash needs to come out, wiring added, sensors added, mechanical parts added etc et etc... and the lot will have to be done twice as the only way to make sure you got all the parts is to get a donor car with a working climatronic with no faults... than hen you've put it all in it needs to be re-gassed and activated...
so you are looking at a 5 day job... is that worth it? Not at all... for that money you can get another mk4 in good condition with a working climatronic, swap over whatever parts you wanted to keep from your old one (wheels, interior parts, and your other upgraded parts) and you've got a car with climatronic and another one to sell off to recover some of your money.
especially if you need to pay someone to do it, IMO just buy another mk4 with the climatronic. ( yes even an engine swap is easier to do than retrofitting the climatronic)
