Hi guys,

I potentially buying some TT comp alloys decribed as very good condition. What are you experiences of cleaning these wheels?

I saw a pic of MK IVs golf that had these wheels when he started
customising. Damm they looked clean but dont think they were refurbed!

What do you guys think I should use to bling up these wheels?

I have some of these, but they have been re furbed to the normal alloy finish, not the bright finish they had originally. Where is Justin (Binliner VR6) ? He has these on his Mk3 Syncro.

Not yet.. still in the shed atm. Saving up for coilovers as I don't like the land rover look much.... hopefully on by october.. then take 'em straight off again for the winter wheels to go on ! [:|]

Ebay mate! Hopefully pick em up this weekend as the dude hasnt been to
communacative. And they went for decent price with nearly new Micheilin
tyres!

I thought about that too J. But thought it might be too much anthracite grey ? I have a picture of LiamH's car and his an early 5 door in anthracite and he has tt comps on.. looks the danglies []

Ive seen a Red GTI with black TT comps on VW vortex. It looked the dogs
kahunas. The dude had the B pillar coded black (properly) aswell. I
will try look for the pic.

TT comps are really easy to keep clean, no awkward bits that you cant get your hands in and if theyre the standard finish they are laquered so clean them the same way you would any other wheel

As these wheels are lacquered instead of painted you want to check the condition of the lacquer carefully, I've seen some that have peeled badly.
