it was quite easy I didn't have any instructions either!

I found these afterwards http://www.tachoringe.de/Anleitung/Anleitung_EN_GolfIV.pdf

I wrote that. I gave them permission to use it but they could at least have credited me.

I didn't say I wrote the instructions only I found them after I did the install.

Wish I had found them before thought mate [;)]

I'm also after these rings and have found this site in the US that does them for $84.99 (?48.00) http://www.parts4euro.com/cgi-bin/PPStore/ppstore.cgi?database=Products&action=view_product&productID=90034&category=6 I have not found any cheaper one's, don't know if anyone else has found any cheaper one's. If so please could you let me know. Cheers.

Jameel

Don't get them in the US, they're a rip-off price over there. Was thinking of exporting to the US myself given where I am and my contacts there! Try www.tachoringe.de but note the comment I made in my last post.

Hey Mike I thought you knew that they were using your instructions. If I'd known I would have pointed it out to you sooner. Maybe in future you should get people to put in a link to your site rather than taking the content and putting it on their own. Just a thought.

I just ordered my tacho chrome rings from Tachoringe lets see how long they take to arrive they reckon 5-7 days. Please note if you do order from here and you pay by PayPal you might need to adjust your browser settings as I had to because the payment was not going through I kept getting an error page paypal will give you instructions on what to do but i will write them below.

1) Goto tools on your browser (do this before you goto the tachoringe site).

2) Scroll down to Internet Options.

3) Click privacy tab.

4) Click Advanced button

5) Then put a check mark in the Override automatic cookie handling box.

6) Then click OK

7) Then OK again.

Once payment has been made you can reset the settings to what you had before. Hope this helps.

Jameel. [:)]
