Ez all

Im new user here and am in the quandry of what to mod first on my TDi 110bhp

Should i.....

get the motor breathing better first...ie stainless exhaust and air filter....and then go to Revo.....or

get the Revo and then the exhaust and filter?

i dont know which will give me the greatest gain?

any thoughts are welcome

Hello mate, how you finding the tdi after the rado? i aslo went from a corrado a g60 to a golf tdi! Best thing imo is get the exhaust and filter sorted first this will make more of your remap! I have a after market filter and remap the difference is amazing!

Revo's code is generic so you will get the same power if you go revo / exhaust or exhaust / revo.

I would advise the remap first then the exhaust system as this will give you the biggest grin factor.

I would go for the MAP as everyone says. Purely because it will be the same price if not cheaper than a decent SS exhaust system. And you will get major bang for the buck with the revo, where the gains with the exaust will be minimal compared.

Sem i see where your coming from mate, that's what im doing next on my list, sorting the suspension as it seems even worse now with the added power from the remap! but like Gary says the biggest grin factor is defo the remap!

What do you think Revo is? Its an alternate performance map to the original stock map, AKA REMAP!!

You are getting mixed up with Generic and Custom - both are remaps, both will give practically the same.

Its just that some companies convince their customers that custom is best!!

The only time a Custom map is necessary is when your are using a non standard turbo etc.
