Well having learned from my Piper experience... and now getting my money back ( without any hassle really which was nice ) I want a Milltek cat back for my 1.8T...

Quick scan around the internet reveals...

If you're after an exhaust which is of the same build quality as a Milltek and just as quiet, but quite a bit cheaper then how about a Blueflame exhaust? Have a look at these links:

They don't actually list the Golf exhaust on their site but there is quite clearly a picture of it. I'll give them a call tomorrow.

They do do Cat-bypass pipes though too []

I had the blueflame manufactured Forge Catback on my Golf. I found the fit wasn't quite as good as milltek but the sound was better.

Ordered from Motorsport World in the end, at least 20 quid cheaper than others, so thats 20 quid towards the V6 rear valence. []

hi, just wondering what the milltek exhaust sounds like on the golf 1.8t??...i used to have a mk2 16v and got a full scorpian dtm system and was so dissapointed that it didnt make even a little noise...i dont want boy racer loud but some aggresive growl would be nice!!
