He told me he would give me a set of BBS CH's for ?1000 + VAT with Toyo's..
Best i could get at the time (5x100 though). decided to get the ASA's for ?880 all in from Germany..

Got a quote (after some arm bending) for ?899(inc vat) inc metal valves and delivery, for 4x 8jx18 rims of ET50 offset - from MSWUK.
Not sure about these yet....seems pricey.
My existing tyres will be re-used / refitted.
If/when my wheels become available they will be ?675, brand new, unused in boxes....go figure!

Foxy: At the berks meet, I spoke to squky about them as we are both after some. BBS CH 18". He is after them for MkIV, I am after them for my MkV. If you want them too, maybe we can get a good group deal.
When I called in Jan msw said around ?1330 with Eagles/Potenza. I cant see why we cant get them closer to ?1k

I have someone looking for them in a 45 / 50 offset and should know on Saturday when I pop down there to see what the quality is like. I have seen a pic of the new A3 on MTM's somewhere and it looks sweet. I have'nt seen any other wheels apart from the 19in CH's and they are silly money and the Khartroums that Foxy has - I just need to make my mind up!. It would be easier if there where a few more pics of MK5's with different alloys.

Not many alloys look that great on the MK5 IMHO.
The 18" GTi wheels are nice but only on GTi really.
18" Karthoums like mine are designed for the car.
VW's ideas are usually the best!
I do like the BBS CH's though.
I saw a 7series BM with some on today - must have been at least 19's!!

Not sure but when I put my car details in on that site it came bake with hundreds of alloys with the 007's being one of them. It may be a different story when you actually call up to order though............
I am going to a place on saturday which supplies these as I was thinking of getting 18's of some sort and want to have a look so I will ask about the 19's and let you know.
