Hi.

I was at gym today. Sat in my car. Popped my key in. And the car wouldnt start!

There was no noise apart from a little "click".

A couple guys came out. Said it might be starter motor. So shook the car whilst turning the key. And bingo it started.

Bought the car back home and same thing happened again. Havent tried shaking it this time as theres no one to shake it whilst i start it.

Wondering if it is 100% the starter motor. And if so, will it be nackard or is it because of the cold or maybe a one off (or two off).

Oh the battery was fine. Usually if the batter is flat or low the dash strugles to light up. Also headlights struggle to turn on. And the clock usually resets.

But non of that happened. SO batterys fine.

Something eles to note. Iv started my car as cold as -6 degress and it started up. This time it was 0 degrees and it failed,
