Am with Aviva atm, paying 1.1k fully comp, renewals come through at 1.8k!!

When its renewal time will be 20 with 2 years driving and 2 years no claims!

Where else to try other than comparison sites?

Will ring flux up in the morning!

ring admiral and ask about an accelarated 10month policy, im 19 with 1years ncb and i pay just over £1000 for a 1.8T which isnt bad at all.
I just got my renewal through and it's gone up almost £300 [:O]

Money grabbing...[]
My renewal was £300 extra as well!!!

My renewal dropped from £2090 to £895. [:)] Im more than happy.
It turns out that we drivers are having to foot the bill for the crashes last year with the bad weather and car insurance has gone up 40%, I wonder how high it will go next year with this years bad weather. []
Especially since we are heading into the next ice age!!
mine went up from £1000 all the way to £2500. i spent 3 hours on insurance sites on xmas day and managed to find a quote for £1600.

and thats with an extra years no claims and im a year older. gutted!
Im paying £257 per year (TPFT) for a fully modded ibiza tdi 130 with flux but im over 40[lol-lol]
dudes, i was paying 400.00 full comp on my 1.8T!

some doosbag took my wing mirror off in the lanes, so i claimed off his insurance, YES HIS INSURANCE!

i got my 1.8T repaired by 3rd party insurers, this year my renewal was £1550.00!!!

WTF i almost died from a heart attack, i was nearly in tears!!

let me tell my fellow ppl this.

If its a BIG prang you have....defo claim!

If its a minor one even if its not your fault, try to settle direct with the other driver.

As soon as you go to your insurer and notify them someone has hit you, they have to log it and even though its not your fault, it will send premiums up!

If i could get an AK i would shoot up the Insurance HQ, not an AK47 and AK67 for those MO FO'S

This is because insurance companies believe that any driver who has been involved in a non fault accident, is more likely to be involved in another incident within the next couple of years rather than someone who hasnt been involved in any accidents recently.

This to me is a load of crap as its penalising people that arent even at fault. Its not my fault some tw*t has decided to ram me in the back or hit my car whilst it was parked in a space. The government need to step in and make stricter guidelines for insurace companies to follow, instead of letting insurance companies rape the public and charge stupid premiums as its a legal requirement to have insurance.

Im very tempted to start up my own insurance company that only offers TPFT or TPO policies. Make cheaper more affordable premiums to younger drivers.

x 4 club insurers, have you tried them?
Shop around, Mate. I rarely ever stay with the same insurer for two years running, as you'll often find the renewals are considerably higher than the premium you would be quoted as new business. The insurance companies rely on you to be lazy and not to bother shopping around...

Green Light, Performance Direct, HIC and Adrian Flux have all insured me on the Golf in the past and were each the cheapest during the particular year I was with them.

Wigster.

i have said exactly the same on another site i use, however there is one main issue with gettin the government to step in

there gettin so much in tax from the companies they would lose out

aslo try Brentacre good for me on the bora and il have the same postcode issues you will only am older
I'll def keep Brentacre in mind.

Greedy government raising fuel prices and now insurance sky rocketing. More and more Im considering switching to the TDI side.
Halfords - they sell half decent push bikes.
