Jumped in the car this morning to leave for work, drove off and thought the car was dragging. Didnt really think anything of it, until i could smell burning! Got out and the rear drivers side disc was smoking and bright red!!

I left it for a few minutes, and drove off and it felt fine. What on earth happened? and what should i do?

New caliper time? Or good clean out.

The disc looks burnt, but i know that they need replacing soon.

Cheers

HELP NEEDED ..

Just gone to tighten the handbrake as it pulled all the way up, and didnt work. All went well, holds the car on a steep hill on the 5th click.

Went for a 3 mile drive to make sure everything was okay. I came back and the rear driver side was warm. You could feel the heat when you put your hand close. All the rest were cold.

Handbrake also has alot of resists when pulling it up.

What on earth is going on here?

Problem solved.

Bottom slider was seized. Worked that free, and it works fine now. Can actually rolls now!

Sticky handbrake cables are not helping tho ..
