How r yas?

I am looking to buy a new model diesel Golf, so if you can help me out that would be great. I used to have an mk4 130bhp and I was more than happy with it, it was a great car :)

I have been looking for a GT tdi but they seem to be rare second hand, well that and people wanting to much money for them. If I cant find one soon then I will probably buy a 1.9 tdi. Are they any good for chipping? What gains am I likley to get from that engine or should I just hold out for the gt?

I also have planned the reiger bodykit and 19" wheels. Reiger good choice or?

Cheers guys

Thanks for the reply fella :)

I am really looking forward to the new motor, I have a Peugeot 206 gti at the minute but it eats petrol. I love the look of the new Golf and the look of the kit from reiger . Either 3-5 door will do me so that narrows my search a bit. I was always a 3dr man but the car on reigers website shows a 5dr and I love it. I have planned Audi rs6 wheels, think they will suit it well.

Still hunting the car though. So you think a 25-30bhp gain could be possible from the 1.9 tdi? its 105 bhp isnt it?

Whats the lowest springs you can get for it at the minute? 40-45?

I probably would not go any lower than that, learnt my lesson with the 206 its lowered 70 mm at the back and 50-60 at the front. I cant even take people in the back, not very practical but looks well.

Like so :
