Depends if you want ported or sealed. Theres loads of things you need to consider which will all have an effect on what you build.
build subwoofer box
hi im looking to build a subwoofer box for a mk4 golf. im looking to house 2 x 15inch subs. couple of things i dont quite understand is how much space each sub needs for the air to move around it, and why does it need a hole somewhere in the box, any help will be amazing thanks[Y]

if you dont know much about how much about boxes, then i would say have a read up on some audio sites and get some info first, or you could even get someone to give you the specs of the box, then input the info into rockford fosgate (iirc) website where they have a custom box building calculator and it gives you the specs of each sheet to cut.
i listen to alot of rock/metal music so would a sealed box be the best?
