A while ago, I somehow broke this plastic piece which I think sits on driver side of wiper blade.

Any ideas of where it goes or how it should be oriented?

I have other small broken off bits of plastic but can't figure the jigsaw (it is missing on my donor car)

I can't see it on BMAC VAG's video, although the cowl is broken.

i got no picture and since i don't have a mk4 anymore i can't even go and have a look or take a picture for you... compare it to the other side.

There isn't one on other side, on both cars.

That bigger bit of plastic really rings a bell with me, I think it's from the cabin air filter area.....I had plastic that broke in that area and had to plastic weld it. Not sure whether it was the tray which pulls out from the cowling, or the cowling itself. If I get some time I'll look tomorrow.....

I was under the bonnet of mine tonight fighting with a bulb.....the bigger piece of plastic comes from the drivers side but near the headlight - there's a piece of plastic in the corner there. Pretty sure that's it anyway.....

I'm missing far too many bits to be able to put it back together, but at least mystery is solved!
Also explains the tiny scratch mark (from a screw)

So I've finally bought this cover. But it doesn't seem to click or clip in. I can see where screw #35 goes, but the plastic cover has an indent but no hole for screw #34. Any ideas?

It probably is a self-tapper screw... check if the tip is pointy or has a kind of drill head... if it's the latter than you just pre-drill a smaller hole than the head and than just screw the screw in with a drill attachment
