Price seems pretty reasonable, I know a guy that uses brembo disks and says they are very good - personally I cant see how the disks of the same spec can vary much between manufacturers, so i'd just go with a cheap oem standard disk.

Good pads can make a difference tho, but I have no experience with the brembo pads, but that is a good price they are going at, and I doubt they are going to be bad...
I have brembo front and rear discs and running oem pads stops a treat [H]
oem disks at £50/pr pagid pads £70 full set and a full set of goodridge hoses £60

stop on a sixpence (whatever that is)

EDIT europarts 20% available aswell[:O]
What pagid pads are they Andy?

Does anyone know any good mintex pads?
search europarts.

Not tried the mintex but my brother uses them and hes pleased with them
after some fast roads pads really.

Euro parts performance only does EBC stuff and wouldnt touch them with a barge pole.

Thought you were planning on running a hybrid turbo?

Do you think single pot 312's regardless of the disc manufacture will be up to the job?
Which is why I want a set of fast road pads Adam. im sure 312s will be up to running whatever turbo i plan to run in the future. Im now thinking k04-023 so 260ish BHP is what they would need to eventually stop.

What discs/pads you running on yours?

The pads are the main thing with the braking system so long as the discs can stand the heat. A 312 set up with good pads and discs can be better than a "bigger" set up with average pads. They should be able to cope with hybrid power, but yes, a different set up would be better, but much pricier.
Budget discs and mintex pads from brakes international, very rare that i slam the brakes on these days but they work when needed.

I wouldn't like to run 260 on them though, having drove a LCR the brakes are amazing, you really need to look into at least 4 pots if your running decent power imo.
312's are terrible when pushing much more than 200bhp

i hate my 312's wish i still had my 323mm brembo 4 pots
BigJase, what pads you using?

Chris, I'm guessing the discs would be ok but I would look at a better pad that is specifically designed for fast road. It's not worth trying to skim a few quid when it comes to pads in my opinion.
Yeh, i want a good pad. Id happily pay £100 if i know they are going to be a good pad and can stop the car when times are needed.
I use EBC yellowstuffs. Have used them on both cars on track and had no problems. Use them everyday in my mk5 and they cope with heat well and they stop when needed. Saying that, if I could afford I'd be going with a Ferrodo DS2500 or Pagid RS15s.
