Saw today a company(Beatles uk of gloucestershire) is importing brand new mk1 golfs from south africa[!]prices ?9,505-10,205,dont think they are bringing in GTI's though[V]

you don't get a GTi, they only make 4 door models, think it is called the Citi Golf and has either a new polo or lupo dash.

Yep that dash is lifted straight from the Fabia.

That could be the next big craze with mk1 fanatics now - if the Fabia one fits so could the Ibiza and new Polo with a few mods.

I rented on of these for a week whilst in Durban SA. It was a 1.4 CITI, bloody awfull to drive and the brakes were useless!

Those cars are the most awful things i have ever seen. Looks like it been stuck together with glue and sellotape.

Saw some camper vans by the same company a couple of months back they are going for 20k and look just as poor
