Getting an oettinger valance kit fit onto my bora soon (hopefully) ...
but am 50:50 about whether I should get an Oettinger spoiler on too.
Can you guys please help me decide.

Yay or nay ?

Thanks :D

thanks for the response guys.

You see, the bora isnt a sports car and putting a spoiler on makes me
think Im trying to make it look like a sports car when its clearly not.
Also, its already got a fat a$$ so adding the spoiler on makes it
look even bigger IMO.

However, I do like spoilers and now am even more unsure than I was before the thread :p

yes, fit it.

I agree with BORA_TOM and efrancis, it looks odd without it.

If your fitting the rest of the kit you need it to finish it off, and if you think it looks like your trying to make it a sports car by fitting one then why bother with the rest of the sports kit.....

Fata$$? I am the only FatA$$ around here, I have the badge to prove it, LOL!!

I am going to say that I am not fussed, I have the spoiler on mine and I don't think it looks big or odd or in your face but then I see a lot of newer Boras with no spioiler and a bodykit which can also look great.

Alternatively go for the M3 style spoiler but that's expensive for what it is!!

Thanks guys.

Another reason for not fitting it is because holes have to be drilled
into the boot (arghhh) which will look more than odd when I take the
spoiler off to sell it. I could sell the car with the whole kit on but
will get more money selling the car as OEM and the kit seperately.

I don't think that you have to drill holes into the boot mate at all. You have a bracket that sits around the underside of the boot and screws into the underside of the spoiler. All you have to do is then glue it to the boot and the bracket acts as a clamp. No hole drilling required if I am correct?

You're correct it just clamps on , mine isn't even glued on its just got a layer of that non slip mat between the boot and spoiler and its been fine for a year.

That doesn't look anything like the parts that came with my spoiler?

Where did you get the kit from? Are you sure that you have the correct fitting kit?

How do you pst images then Sonny?
