I know Shaq does a line in "blue" healdights..........

but they seem to blow quite often.

what other choices do we have for that "blue" headlight effect?

and i mean blue, not just "not quite yellow"

and if you are reading this shaq, another of mine has gone, so i could do with a set.

Have you looked at PIAA Xtreme Force H7 Bulbs... they give that xenon look.

Halfords used to sell Bosch Blue H7's. They give a
nice white with blue tinge light. They lasted more
than 12months too before blowing out.

In my experience (and also from yours too), the BLUER the bulb, the SHORTER the lifespan.

U can't have a long lasting blue bulb. The blue tinting/coating
makes the bulb run HOTTER, and therefore the filament burns out
quicker...

I've heard that PIAA bulbs are said to be good, but the price of them is certainly not for the fainthearted!

Shuiming has them fitted on his car, and he's posted up a few before and after pics if u care to search for his thread

As already mentioned, very blue bulbs tend to have a short life - the blue tint filters out certain parts of the colour spectrum to make the light appear whiter, but it also filters the light in terms of its intensity so you're losing some light the more blue you go. What bulbs have you been using so far and do you know what colour temperature they produce? Are we talking about the H7 dipped beams?

Really don't know why your bulbs are blowing mate, I've had ALOT of
bulbs from Autobulbs direct (mainly) and Shaq as I have had 3 MK IV's
to date, plus a polo, and bought some for my Dads car! all been fine,
Try autobulbs direct!
