I need to see more pics of them on the car as they look good but cant
really tell without getting a few nice shots of the car showing the
rims in full glory.

edit: i don't think these rims can pull off the polished lip look due
them having no propper 2 piece look and not enough dish lip to make it
stand out.

In this pic it doesn't look as if the lip is polished at all, maybe it
needs to be stripped of the laquer then surface polished then you may
be able to get a nicer polished finish on them and maybe then it may
pull it off but not 100% but still looks good as a wheel not sure on
the whole complete package on a car.

The top picture of the wheel isnt the same as the ones on the car.

As you say, I don't think the lip is polished on the second full car picture.

Good idea, but not on an RC, like others have said it works better with a dished rim, like this ACE132 that I 'modified' and ended up scrapping as I really didn't like it once I fitted it to the car

Agreed it doesn't look bad in the pic above, but when I put it (and the other one I painted) on the car it just didn't work for me...

Like you say Mark they would be a lot better in gunmetal which was my next plan, but once I started stripping the paint off I realised I was never going to do a good job of it [:|][:$] so I bought 2 new rims .. Would have cost ?200 to refurb without the lip, or ?240 for 2 new rims, so you can see where I'm coming from.

I thought they looked really good personally, but it's not my car and i respect your decision to remove them mate! [:)]

But if i had them, i'd also be going for the matt black finish as has been mentioned!! [;)]

They do carry the look really well i think! [Y]

I'm not too sure about BBS RC's in black, as has been said I think you need a lip. I'm really liking black/darker wheels at the moment especially on silver cars. I'm thinking of going for some BBS LM's with the centres in the same kind of finish that Sem has had his anni wheels done, but maybe a little bit darker. I really like Gregs wheels on his car but I don't want to copy them so I think the dark chrome finish would work. I need to get some money together first for that one though lol. Hopefully in 2006.

Gary the superleggas with the lip, that are quite rare, with the centres painted black would look amazing.
