Thinking about changing the Santas for something abit different.....

Has anyone ever seen any BBS RC/Anni wheels finished in black... mat or gloss.

Its something I considered 6 months back, general concensus was that they would look crap.
Still niggles me now, I reckon they could look pretty good on a silver car.

Well, i'll think on.

If I see some cheap anni wheels on ebay then I might take a chance.
I considered it. eventually got my anni alloys done in "smoked chrome" which is chrome/black flip, very slight depending on the light but on my black car I think they look fookin awsome and loads better then the "bright" standard ones. Less bling but more stealth.

Ill wash it and get some pics towards weekend.

Mate, let me know if u see any cheap wheels or the odd wheel on ebay,

I've currently got 3 BBS RC's (18x8) sitting in my garage, I just
need ONE wheel to complete the set so they can go on my car.

It would be a shame to not be able to complete the set :(

I think a dark colour would work maybe anthracite or grey but with black whats the point you might aswell have some cheap wheels like the ace/bk or something as you cant see them.

Wondering this too ... ATM my 4motion is running some R32
rims due to the car being silver and the wheels being
silver i feel it needs a little contrast so am looking at powder
coating the wheels dark anthracite black mettalic!!!

Anyone photochop them onto that car above?

please

Andy IMHO you should seriously consider the finish that Stewart has put on his MTM S3 rims. It looks like a gloss grey http://www.uk-mkivs.net/forums/thread/583849.aspx

I reckon black RC's on a silver car will look great but go for black centre caps as opposed to silver ones. Then get some silver BBS stickers/caps for the centres.

they are smoked chrome, some have said in past that are too dark and prefer "black chrome" as its closer to orignal "chrome alloy" look. I think these look well on a black car.

Cant fully appreciate them in photos though as they have a subtle black/chrome flip in the light and much shiner that appears but not as "bright" as the originals if you get my drift.

I like em anyway and its an option for you chaps to consider!
