Which magazine is regularly best for MkIV Golfs?

Not really interested in other VWs just Golfs!

I know some listed are rubbish for VW alone, but its to give you more choice!!

I voted VW Driver, they've given some great coverage of the MK4 via they're project GTI and other articles on tuning options etc.

PVW would be second choice.

I would tend to agree with Tabs there, I subscribe to both those magazines.

VW Driver for me. A great test drive of the 130PD a while ago and their Project cars tend not to be too extreme.

VW Driver definately. Used to get performance VW and The golf mags but ditched them now for VW Driver. Found them a little too boy racerish for my standard of normalness. Although they would be good if your into bodykits, and ice etc.

NETDI - Do you subscribe to VW Driver or just pick it up? and where from? my local newsagents reliability is dwindling somewhat and i've nearly missed the last few copies. Might need to get it elsewhere.

Which August VW mag was it that there was an article on this forum in? Looked like they were covering a meet.

Friend was flicking through it at my local dealers, so didn't really get the chance to look at it but looked pretty good.

Diesel - I don't subscribe, although I have been tempted, I normally get it from WH Smiths on Northumberland St when i'm in town but they don't stock many copies so you need to get it just after it's delivered. Their back copy facility is v good.

Aye thats the one. On their website is a .pdf list of all back issues/road tests etc, I found it v handy when I was choosing present car - couldn't decide between 1.8T and GT TDI.

Ive never seen VW Driver mag as i can never find it anywere tried WH Smith, News agents, Supermarkets etc can never get it, if anyone has any spare ones i could have a look at would apprciate it.
