Mapped Weds with the following results:-

410bhp, 513nm torque [:D]

Many thanks to Mike, Elton and the guys 'n galls at Jabba. Top job as usual.

Cars performance scarey at the moment.. and on the way home last night from peter bog horror, 120mph wheel spin in 4th gear was entertaining. [:O]

Spool up and response is superb.. much better than hoped for. Less lag than before, but a hell of a lot more punch than previously.

Well happy.

Over 400bhp in a FWD car. You nutter [:D] Have you thought about 4x4'ing it?
no.. but 4wd would be quite handy.

Drove mikeT's A3 quattro with IHI a few weeks back.. ~350bhp I think and so easy to drive over their nastiest of roads.. took it all perfectly in its stride. (ibiza would be off road in a tree or ditch driven as hard)

ibiza races next year at castle combe, so can only mod as the rules allow.. (which is'nt much) - I think they might notice it was 4wd but seat never made a 4wd ibiza. (leon yes)

I love it Bill, where can specs and prices be found on these hybrid turbos?
some discussion here>> http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=54260&page=4&pp=20&highlight=pe1820

their web addy> http://www.powerenterpriseusa.net/main/turbo/list_spec/index.htm

ripped from that>

"The PE1820 is well-known in performance circles for making BIG power and putting down good numbers. How does 11.68 @ 121 mph in the quarter mile sound? This turbo uses all IHI components custom-specified by Power Engineering of Japan. The center section is a roller bearing design for excellent spool characteristics.

Flow is rated at 630 CFM at 1.0 bar.

Comes with a 0.8-bar wastegate spring. Call for other spring options."

nicked from>> http://www.fastwrx.com/poenpetu.html

first flowrate number I've seen posted on an IHI

and there's more

"Power Enterprise PE 1820 Turbo
The PE 1820 Turbo is a high-performance turbo developed by Power Enterprise. This turbo uses IHI turbine & compressor housings and incorporates PE's custom twin-ball bearing center cartridge. This design allows the turbo to be capable of over 440+ HP (~360+whp). The PE1820 is well suited as a race turbo. This turbo features a P20 turbine housing which is larger than the PE1818's P18 turbine housing. Although the larger housing induces more lag than the PE1818, the true benefits of the PE1820 is the significantly increased power output levels at 21+ PSI range. This turbo is an excellent choice for customers who are seeking a high power turbo race turbo. This turbo is a direct bolt-on for all GC8, GDA, GDB EJ20 turbo engines. "

and Power Enterprise directly...
hows your Japanese?
