was looking on the awsome GTI web site and seen they were offering the rear RS4 audi badge for ?6 [:D] great i thought i will have one of those

however when i called them to order they said it was not ?6 but ?16 [:O]

total was ?23 inc VAT and p+p

a tad too expensive for a badge that i can get for ?13 from Audi

and i was always under the impresion that if a shop/company advertise something for a price then they have to honour it [:D]

anyway gripe over, i am off to audi to order it

Oh calm down. Look, you've got a Golf. Sure, it's a nippy TDI and it'll outperform a lot of similar cars - and yeah, you might have replica RS4 wheels. This DOES NOT make it an RS4. It's as simple as that.

I ain't gonna shove an R32 badge on the back of my V6 just because, hey, they're both V6 engines, right? And they've both got 4WD, right? I just don't think people should badge up their car as something it's not. It's the lamest of the lame, in my opinion.

Indeed, each to their own.

However, 'interesting' doesn't always mean that a car will look good.

Blimey, getting a bit heated here isnt it[B)]

I quite like the RS badge with just the Rs bit, not the model, but I wouldnt fit it to my car, but thats my view.

At least its not as bad as some folk who stick "Ltd Edition" or "sports" badges on their escorts or sierras.

1st case: Scooby sport seen other day, 2.0ltr basic, but had greeat bit "PRODRIVE" sticker on it, now your average joe may not know the difference but folk like us do. Eat my soot is what I said to him.[:D]

2nd Case: Whilst visiting my parents on saturday I saw a really nice 318 cab in blue, the only thing that killed it dead was the "TURBO SYSTEMS" sunstrip accross the ft screen, noooooooooooo[V]

easy mate, all you had to say is that you are modding the badge.

What mod are you going to do to it mate?

And that'd be a bet you'd lose. I wouldn't remove the badge, or change it at all. If it's a 1.4, then so what?
