Im keen to find out what sort of averages you all get?

State your engine

Your average MPG

Your best average MPG

Your worst average MPG

I want to hear from the R32's and V6's too because it should make me feel better!

I couldnt work out how to do it as a poll![)]

I have a 1.8T (standard)

My average is about 28-33 MPG

My best is 38MPG

My worst is a mere 19 MPG![V] on my way back from a boxin match, I was full of adrenaline![B)]

Avg MPG = 47

Best MPG = 59

Worst = 25

Audi S3

1.8T 210 BHP

Avg MPG = 26

Best MPG = 40.2

Worst = 15

Richy,i have an 02 V6 4motion,average mpg seems to be about 27-32,the best has been 36,the worst 19! Not a million miles away from yours,quite surprising really,i thought a 1.8T would be far better on fuel. Makes me feel quite happy i bought the V6 now!! By the way,mine is in standard tune...for the moment,anyway! Paul.

Engine - 115 pd tdi

Average MPG - 46 (average over 12,000 miles)

Best average MPG - 64 mpg single journey, 53 mpg out of a tank.

Worst average MPG - High 20's mpg single journey, 43 mpg out of a tank.

I think it 'distorts' things quoting single journey figures, much better per tank full. As stated above, my average since buying the car over in excess of 12,000 miles is 46mpg. Anyone can go out and drive their car as saintly or devilishly to get extreme results, it's averages that count over I'd say a minimum of a tank full of juice.

How did the Revo effect things Sammy?? Ive a PD150 too, and thinking about having it Revo'd next year..

Before the REVO the average was more like 50mpg. The power increase was well worth it.

AmD remapped V6, Average 23-24mpg, Worst Average 16mpg(good fun tho'!) and best average 32mpg (space saver fitted and constant 55). At 145mph (on the continent where it was legal I hasten to add) I got a steady 16mpg for 10 minutes[:O]
