Hello,

On my Mk5 my doors used to lock when i got in the car after getting up to about 10mph.

When I stopped, turned engine off and removed key all the doors would unlock - you would hear it. Then I would pull the latch just once to open my door.

I recently had a new comfort control module ecu fitted to solve an alarm problem by the dealer and when I got it back the auto lock feature was not enabled.

I recently took it back to be enabled which it does indeed lock the doors after 10mph all fine.

However when i come to stop the car, remove the keys from ignition I don't hear the doors unlock? I also still see the illuminated lock button.

To get out I have to pull my latch twice.

Seems odd - this a new feature? This wrong? This right? This something that should be changed?

Thanks.

Andrew.

The monkies have enabled autolocking and not enabled auto unlocking (when you remove the key).
Pulling twice is normal to unlock a car then open it from the inside.
