Audi A8's are 5 X 112mm PCD versus the Golf/Bora's 5 X 100mm. Adapters are about ?150 - ?200 including bolts etc. Using adapters shouldn't create many problems but they will space the wheels out slightly so a chance they could foul the arches.
I would have hoped ?2k would've been enough but I suppose you know what Stealer prices are like! You should check out H & R and FK spacer kits, they seem amoung the best.
Whats the point? jus get some reps! u will be paying double for the wheels then will have to mess about with adapters, also the they will be wider then reps and with the adapters on they will stick out of the arch!
some crazy fool was selling a genuine set for ?650 WITH TYRES too, and you know what, apprently they had LOADS of tread left, i also think THAT THEY ARE STILL FOR SALE? wow!
Ive always hated the A8 wheels, they look like roulette wheels and totally ridiculous on a MK4 IMO. If you are spending ?2,000 on wheels you could get something much, much nicer if you ask me. Id be tempted by MTM Bimotas, BBS LMs, Rial Daytonas 2, or something by Fikse even.
I've told Mike that I'll buy his Khans off him if he hasn't sold them by New Year...
Means I'll have ?1400 to spend on beer...and cheap women...and my Votex kit.
If he sells before then, then it'll be the MTM's. They look SMART!
