In one word "yes".

Probably the best mod i've done to mine IMO. Totally transformed the feel of the car. I paid ?180 for the parts from the dealers including new bushes etc. and then (with a little help from another forum member [;)]) had a VW mechanic fit them for ?50 cash.

Get it done!

zekegti - ?140 seems a lot for the ARB second hand, i paid ?115 for a brand new one and the bushes and drop links! Or have you bought the rear aswell (which i believe wont fit a 1.8t). I guess you have kw coilovers on the car to fit the front aswell?

Having my front R32 ARB fitted a week today (April 2nd) at Awesome!

Pardon my ignorance chaps but whats the difference between the R32 and 1.8T ARB's ?

After my coilovers have been fitted my next plan is to fit a set of Eibach ARB's but I'm curious to know more about the R32 items.

Thanks.

Main advantage to me will be the fact that it wont go near the driveshaft and therefore eliminate the horrible rubbing i am getting at the moment!

guys did you buy all the bolts and clips for it aswell, or just the anti roll bars.

I bought the front anti roll bar, a pair of droplinks and a pair of bushes! I also had to get some nuts after to secure the droplinks on, as i didnt order these when i got the rest of the stuff!

R32 or aftermartket? which is better?

Will the R32 ARB fit straight on the 1.8T? and does the R32 come with rear ARB and will that go on a 1.8T aswell?

For value R32. Pretty certain that the rear R32 ARB will NOT fit a 1,8T.

how much difference is there because im still experiencing some driveshaft scrub and its destroyin my happiness,im lookin into this as much as poss because i want my car lower and was considering just binning it altogether,do the R32 ARBs give you more space or is it just that they reduce body roll which stops the rubbing?

i dont think it will rub at all, as said before the std arb goes over the driveshaft, the r32 one doesnt, so cant rub on it!
