Title sums it up.
Building a 1.8t engine atm and don't know the current state of the old one so I've been looking online for a replacement.
Anyone here installed it and found any benefits or is it better just to stick with OEM.

OEM is fine. I'm sure I've heard of failures using the fluidampr - improper balancing and crankshafts falling to bits.
