An R32 that's done over half a million miles[:O]

The engine is only 3cc too[)]

The guy has an accident damaged one too for ?2000 if anybody's interested in a new engine[;)]

I hope "the interior and body looks new with few stone chips" on my car when it's done half a million miles! I'm plagued with stone chips already at only 27k!

Someone's asked a question on warranty too - do VW specify the maximum mileage a car has to do before the warranty is void[?] because the seller says:

The VW garage that maintain this car was willing to offer a full warranty on all parts only. I will speak to them on monday and will let you know how much they ask and what is going to be covered.Wait for specific details

I wouldn't buy a car with 500k miles though - R32's aren't THAT rare and there's plenty more out there with less than 20 times the mileage!

Something about his username makes me think it's a dodgy deal too - people only say they're an honest person when they're not!

His feedback is suss too - a couple of people are no longer registered users - maybe they don't want people contacting them asking for specific details or something?? And several of his feedback seem a bit short to be genuine ie. "Fantastic" and "No Probs"[xx(]

Will be interesting to see what it gets - 13 bids in 6 hours already!

Maybe he is genuine, but I certainly wouldn't buy it!

Its a scam for sure, there is an identical picture currently on Autotrader. Its on the first page when searching for Golf R32. Its a 53 plate having covered only 14000 miles. Priced at ?17.995 and is being sold by Anniesland Trade Centre!!! Scaming little scally.

And why choose an R32 to be doing that sort of mileage? Wouldn't it be more sensible to have a diesel?[??]

Dont be silly he needs the extra power of the R for the high speed chases to foil jewel heists lol

Well spotted! I've just asked him the following question:

"Hi there, is the car you've pictured the actual car or one you've picked off the Autotrader site?" I will wait with baited breath for his answer, then provide him with the Autotrader link if necessary [;)]

Unfortunately the seller can choose which questions/answers he wants to show on the auction. It doesn't matter if he answers it he can still choose to not display it.

I just been having a look at this and was wondering myself how it can be a scam. Free listing day sure, but how can you scam someone out of cash? 23k a month IS possible, just look a cross country lorries. I just don't know how it can be a scam as he isn't asking for any money up front.

hmmmmm!!!
