Hi, Some of you are aware that we have produced a True Bolt on K04 for
K03 equipped vehicles. This turbo is 85% K04-22/23 as on TT/LCR/S3
210/225bhp engines. Our turbo bolts on to a stock K03 Downpipe, K03
mannifold, K03 lines and K03 Intercooler pipe. The only modifications
for it to fit are a new oil feed line (supplied) and a new Turbo Inlet
Pipe (S3/TT/LCR or similar)

Original info & Pics is here:

http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=46664

Power details are here:

http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?p=686207

Alot of people have used us through K03 'Sport' Turbos and had good
results of around 240bhpish, we feel this is the next step/evolution
and now the 'fill' for the [power gap between K03s and Big turbo
(240-300+)

What do people think?

Got the power plots from Jabba, using their new rollers, But the graph
is a bit funky, Lines are thin and shows 4 runs on there (2 hot, 2 avg)
but it gives u an idea. Will upload graphs as soon as i can

also got an ATW dyno but wont bother posting, They show 222,227,229,245 BHP ATW

This dyno shows 4 runs, 2 hot 2 cool, (see air temp)

Dyno shows torque and bhp, think the first graph is torque (left hand one)

Interesting but we really need to see some plots from other cars on the same RR to use as a benchmark. Interesting that the peak torque figure is pretty much the same as what I'm making with a K03S, the AM04 must obviously hold it longer. I'm certainly interested though, looking forward to hearing prices and some more backup for the figures.

YEah I know what you mean, we went K03s route nearly 2 years ago and
got 240bhp and 270lbs at jabba. And I feel i can truly comment as we in
use of a better word help put k03s on the map as we have sold in excess
of 25turbos to 1.8T owners from our results at jabba.

While the torque seems similar, it is like you said the duration for
which it holds the torque. while it is very similar in the delivery of
the k03s i.e. good spool up and mid range, its down the the extra rpm
your getting at full chat,

The way I described it is that think of the jump from K03 to K03 sport,
Then think of the same jump but K03 sport - Am04, then add some.

I did go to stealth on way back from jabba but it was closed. Im due to
go to Westec soon, will try power station anjd stealth when i can. will
also have some vag com logs soon hopefully

Looking forward to seeing vagcom logs, particularly MAF readings.

Do you have an idication of costs and are your figures achieved with standard injectors?

279lbs (378nm) here also [:p]
Could just be down to excellent software.....possibly?
Over wieghted rollers I recon! LOL! [:p]

ps. filling your tank with Millers on RR day is cheating!
Overweighted rollers would mean our peak BHP is reduced so I like your theory!

Gary and I run millers at all times not just on the RR so why is cheating? It's a modification like any other.

Gary has been known to run CVL Turbo in the past but not on his latest plot AFAIK which has the best figures yet.

I run Millers Octane+ everyday along with BP Ultimate so 98ron.

Its only the same as Optimax but I find it more consistant.

My plots for both Custom Code Phase 1 and 2 have both been run using this combination which I can highly recommend.

Stock cars make stock power and torque figures so my guess would be that they arent that far out.

Also generally accepted as one of the best set of rollers in the country.

Whats Jabba's excuse? [:p]

Geeba - you big wind-up merchant [:D]

[EDIT] Yes I have run Millers CVL Turbo in the past on my Revo 4bar map and saw 245bhp but much less torque.
