Hello All,

I was wondering if you could give me advice as to what alloys I should put on my silver 2002 1.6 mkIV golf?

E.g. sizes and best looking types.

Many thanks

John

It hasn't been lowered and I was looking at after market alloys.

I came across this site but as they seem quite cheap but wasn't sure.

It says they only do them in that size and I don't really have the
money to get 18's. How much are window tints and how dark can you get
them before they are illegal?

Also one last question, if I were to get the 17's how much room would
be left for me to lower my car and what springs should I use?

You can drop it max 35mm without changin your shocks because other wise
you'll end up messing up your shocks, and tints wise i think the legal
limit it 35-40% mate.

Is there a good online site for buying springs to lower it? Would I
still be able to pass speed bumps without wrecking the front of my car?

how about some 17" santa monicas?

or some 17" audi TT competitions?

or black R32 wheels?

(not that I'm selling all those, honest ;-) )

30-35mm is just for cosmetics the car will still need lowering if you
want a super low look but if your on a budget go for the springs -30mm.
And mate you'll easily be able to get over speed bumps its when you
lower it by 50-60mm then you drive like a granny over them other
wise stick to speed limit [:D]
