Having just read a favourable review of front aero wipers on www.rmcb5.com I rang me local stealers intending to purchase a set like the R32 ones. The guy in the stores told me that they were not as good as the standard ones I have fitted now. At least he was honest even if he did lose a sale. So I was wondering, are the aero wipers better or is it just a cosmetic thing. Cheers guys.

I am more than happy with mine, they seem to work better (in heavy rain up to and including speeds in excess of the national speed limit - private / foreign roads [
] ) and last longer than those on my previous golf. I also have the reat aero fitted.

True, but I have the best of both worlds, Aeros & rain-x ( all round), use MK5 on the rear.

if you get judder, your wiper motor needs greasing!
i have changed to aero wipers (along with around 5 other mk4s) and we all agree they are a big improvement!! at 90mph(ish) in the rain, they do a brill job!
