Advice Needed Please!?

I have a 2005 Mk5 Golf GT TDi PD140 and recently when I start my car (so oil temperature is still cool) and I lift my clutch there is a loud groaning noise! As if two pieces of metal are rubbing together! The thing is its just when i start my car and lift the clutch in 1st gear! Any ideas??

i dont know anything about MK5 Golfs...but either your flywheel is bust, or you need a new preassure plate!!

Check your gearbox fluid too!!! It could be low

Im sure someone will correct me on this if i am wrong!![y]

Cheers lads, I will check fluid levels tomorrow. I am hoping it is that coz its and easy fix!
