Hi all,

I have this in my Golf:

Radio Media player Satellite radio Vehicle Car

(That's from a website as mine is MUCH cleaner! 馃槃)

I've finally had enough of using a bluetooth FM device to broadcast to my MKIV stereo! So as I have the multi CD headset, I thought that maybe I could wire in the audio from a bluetooth receiver/audio line out device into the CD audio L/R. This will of course lose my CD player audio but I don't use that any more. The blue tooth device I have in mind is this:

I can power it from a 12V USB port in the cigarette lighter port.

So... any ideas?

Any cheap bluetooth receiver will do the trick, I used to have a 拢1 one off eBay that sounded great for the money. Pair that with one of these as the auxiliary input and that should work fine. It plugs in where the CD player ordinarily would.

Alternatively, an aftermarket stereo can be had for cheap - although, understandably, a lot of people are against that idea, for the purity sake.

There鈥檚 an awesome Bluetooth stereo I bought for my van which is cheap but great sound. BUT the Golf amp is quite good for stock and drives the four speakers well.
Thanks for the advice! I鈥檝e made my DIY slot pins so I鈥檒l have a look tonight. Cheers.
