Well it was a bit of a wash out, but we made the most of what we were given so heres some quick snaps:

(note the poor bugger in the backround whos polo picked up a puncture on the way to the meet. Spacesavers - you just gotta love 'em![])

And some nice lupo's:

(This one's dubbed_up_daz' brothers gti - probably the nicest car there today.)

Never took many photos (mainly because i spent half the day running for shelter).

But a big thanks to lloyd for inviting us along and im sure everyone had a great time.

Thats Stuarts (Geordielife) Bora and it is absolutely GORGEOUS. I want that car bad[] His wheels are 18" OZ Supersomethingorother and they show off the EBC and Porsche brakes beautifully. Tried swapping my Bora for his but he wasn't for having it[:'(], just need to get my Bora up to the same standard[]

The wheels are Superleggaras, and coming off soon for the Aristos to go back on, although I prefer the OZ ones []

day...seems I brought the rain with me from Newcastle tho!

Hopefully I'll be welcome at the next Scottish VAG meet and we can get some more MKIVs folk there...and it won't rain!

seriously though good day bar the weather and great meetin other members,some great motors turned up from all the clubs(loved the brakes on geordielifes)but wouldve been nice to see some more mkivs,good Bora turn out though [].ill stick some photos up myself asap cos i got a couple took when i wasnt at the GT4 challenge []

Was heading to work this morning just passing Shawfield stadium and was in the inside lane when the road bends to the left. A dozy bird in a silver Fiesta thought she'd take up all of the road and pull infront of me at the bend[] It was either have her hit my front wing and door or swerve and wallop the kerb. Picked the latter option Lloyd and thought I'd come off quite lightly with just a wee bump against the kerb aswell, until I got to work and seen the damage[:'(] There is a 2 scuffs and a massive gouge at least 3mm deep into one of the spokes which goes into a nice V shape scratch till it reaches the opposite side of the spoke. Definate refurb job [] If I'd known at the time how bad it was I'd have dragged her out the car by the t**ts and gave her a good bollocking, although I'm still trying to get the impression of my hand out of the horn[] Took a pic of it on my mobile, so will try and send you the pic tomorrow, as I can't get it off my phone and onto the PC. Anyway wasn't too happy this morning, and especially now as the Bora was all valeted today and is gleaming with the tyres shining and the alloys the cleanest they've ever been which only shows the scuff up better[]
