Someone is bound to suggest the trolley jack and lump of wood method, this DOESN'T work other then jacking the car up,the door stays where it is relative to the car.
Remove the striker plate with an Emm 8 XZN or triplesquare bit (most definately NOT Torx[
]) and loosen the door hinge bolts with an M10 XZN bit,10mm ring spanner and something for extra leverage because they will be VERY tight....
Loosen all of them then nip them up JUST tight enough so they grip but the door can be twisted by hand.It might be a good idea to put something soft and non-paint damaging under the very front as it's not as easy to get the gap right there as it is at the back of the door.Make sure the front top isn't too far out (not always obvious) as you'll get wind noise and it could leak.
Put the striker plate back and adjust it so if you shut the door with the handle pulled out it slides in easily without touching the sides[
