About time you posted some pics! Got any more? That's a cool shot. What's an SPL competition? I'm guessing it involves sub-woofers and ruptured spleens? [:|] You two coming to the Christmas meet (or even the pre-Christmas meet)?

Correct. Used to be into that scene myself. Before i found the power of Turbo [:D]

My previous effort managed 144Db which is a very good result

jacks is lowered by 60mm

mine isnt lowered YET!

light brows are going soon as i get my twin angel eye's

ive got L.E.D rear lights.

SPL = Sound Pressure Level (just a messure of the amount of air movment from a cars sub-woofer) with my old box (shown in a pic further down) i hit 141.9 Db so its louder than concord taking off which suits me [:D]

more pics as requested:

the shop said the kit was 60mm

but knowing the place he got the kit from its probably all bull***, thus the reason i will be going else where for my coil overs

the rear lights are more effective at night.

Sorry, but why would you want to?

Other than that nice pics, cars are looking pretty good. I like those LED rear clusters on a black Golf - disco lights! [:p]

I guess I just can't understand why you would want to have music in
your car loud enough to make your ears bleed. Each to their own

Stu, what size wheels and tyres has your friend got, ever since South Mimms I've looked and wondered, they look kinda too small for the MkIV [:S] Hence even with that drop, they don't appear to be filling the arches. I would say from looking at the front bumper it does look quite low.

it happened by accident.

i had 2 12" subs that were in my old 106. but i cracked one of them.

i got a really good deal on a brand new kicker L7 15" when they first came out.

this sounded crap in the box it came in, so i put it into that boot filling box that you see in the pic (got it 2nd hand for free off a mate)

it because to really shake the car and drop low. so i decided to get a bigger amp, then it jus grew from there.

that box is gone now, because the bass blew it apart after constant high levels, and now i have a boot build/install.

still very loud but havent had it tested yet so dont know if its still 141.9 Db

Yes! And duly admire them whenever I walk towards the car [:p]

Now I'm just waiting for the rain to stop to fit the Phillips
BlueVision sidelights I got free with them (not given in to the
expensive sidelights yet!)
