I work just down the road from there and have seen that car many times.

They've changed the wheels from the polished ABT ones which were on previously - these were badly kerbed the last time I saw them.

Still looks awful IMO

Damn dealers! Stick on a bodykit and they think its worth the earth. The same deal for a Bora back when I was shopping. It was a 2002 V6 4Motion, 8k on the clock, full Oettinger bodykit (valances rather than full bumpers though), 19" BBS CHs. Car started out at £21,995, last time I saw it it was at £16,995 - 4 months later!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that car is pretty much list price right?

I mean,

car is £17700

Wheels £ 2000 (roughly - vw prices)

leather £ 1600 (roughly)

Chipped £ 600 (or more)

bodykit £ 1500 (???)

suspen £ ?? (it looks lowered)

So give or take, they are advertising the car at list price with it being 6months old.

Yes it's alot of money, but I reckon that's pretty much the norm with any approved dealers..

Nice spec, love the grill but not sure about the lower front valance - it has that melted in the sun kind of look IMO of course!

Thought they might be cheaper on the car with the more sporty image. Either way £2k for seats is mental, can't believe people spec them (no matter how nice they are). So glad they are free on used cars []

That car reminds me of the red 03 reg 1.8T advertised at Lincoln Volkswagen. It's got leather recaros, cruise, winter pack and R32 wheels but 13K miles. Asking price..£19,995..are they for real?

MY god, 2 grand for leather! It is fitted in my second hand one, nce nick, and I reckoned it added about £200 to the price! Car's even cheaper than I thought then!!

Reminds me of a mate who bought a 928 Porsche a few years back, 1985 model, with full electric leather memory seats, leccy sunroof, aircon, and a manual gearbox! He paid 4 grand for the car, and when we looked at the original brochure and price list the guy gave him with it, those options alone cost over 6 grand new!! Leather electric seats were £3600, ..IN 1985!!

Car was excellent, by the way, totally relaiable as well! Best bargain Supercar.......??

Recaros or sport seats leather? Sports seats in leather is about £1k, Recaros were £2k
