as a Passat owner i must say i really like the new style of the B6, although the spy shots of the variant aren't so enthralling.

Think I've made my mind up that the 170bhp diesel will be the replacement for my 3 series - bit concerned about the comments on the estate version though....have you any piccs to show us, 02 Bora?

I'm not too keen on the new Passat. Interior looks nice but the exterior has lost the VW "look". Car seems to long imo; if you removed the badges it looks across between a large Japanese car and an Alfa 166. I'm amazed that VW are offering it with a 1.6 engine. It's like Mercedes selling an S-class with a 1.8 engine.

That thing looks huuuge, how the hell is a 1.6 gonna cope in that!

I like the front, but hate the back, something to do with the 2 big clear circles in the lights, very in your face, maybe smoke the clear bits out! Loving the interior, dials look awesome, and the key/start thing is a nice touch(i mean if nissan are puttin it in their micra then it wasnt long before others started adding it too)

Not a fan of the front, very "droopy", but the rest of it is very nice, does look very BMW with those head light IMO.

Love all of it apart from that bloomin swage line, why is everyone trying to look a BMW I personally hate messy swage lines like that.
