If anyone is waiting for the Milltek to become available, your patience will be rewarded soon.

My MK5 is going over to Milltek for 3 days whilst they fit my car up with a prototype.

It's effectively going to be similar to the Audi A3 system but with a different tailbox fitment.

I believe the tail pipes will look like the new Sporkback, with on-view semi-downturned exit.

The new GTi rear valence will be used to achieve a tidy pipe exit thru the bumber.

I'll post pics and a report once it's done.

Hopefully i'll get to test out their new MK5 GTi as a loaner whilst it's in having the work done.

@KiniD - well, they ould do a twin-exit, because it's just a tailbox change (the MK5 tailbox is transverse, like the Mk4 R32/4-mo), so it's alot easier to work the variations.

I'm not that keen on the 'wheelbarrow' look and prefer stealth or the down-turned on-view as above.

It will be next month sometime by which time they will have received their GTi and hopefully will be able to de-cat too.

Mate when you go to drop your car of, could you ask if they're going to make the different tailboxes available?

Each to their own of course, I quite like the R32 style tail pipe look. [:)] I think the reason why it looks so wheelbarrow like is because the pictured car still uses the normal valance; I think with the Caractere kit it'll look a lot better.

OK - update time.

Milltek aren't getting their 'loaner' until Easter, so i'm not able to try the GTi just yet.

I can't wait until Easter for the zorst, so it's going in for a de-cat and system on 28th Feb.

The backbox is apparently the development item........they already have a 'wheelbarrow' double exit but i'm after a single twin exit, so the GTi valence.

Right, the time has soon come around, and I am indeed going up to Ilkeston HQ on Monday to the have the zorst done.

Due to delivery prob's the GTi won't be available but hey - no worries.

I'm having the downpipe and system....concluding with a new (and hence the trial), twin outlet back box - like the new GTi's.

The outlets will hopefully be like the new 4-motion, with semi-downturned pipes.

The GTi valance will be used to ensure the cutout position can be easly and repeatedly achieved.

It's going to be with them for the day, so hopefully by Tuesday i'll be able to clue you guys in and show soem pics too.

OK, at your request, here are some pics and footage.

The car is transformed......the turbo whistle is audible anything over 1500 rpm!

I will be doing a proper write-up and some better pics when the car's a bit cleaner!!!

Great Video Foxy[^] Movie Maker 2.1 with plugins was it? Think you might start a trend with packaging a video like this and some pretty cool music.

The Milltek looks really good and sounds great once the revs pick up over the normal diesel clatter - must be a joy to drive!
