hey all [:D]

Im looking to get some 17 or 18"s for my golf 4, which alloys do you guys reckon look best? I think the 18" RS4's look wicked but so do many others. I got between 700 & 800 pounds to spend.

Need some opinions guys [8)]

18" Kahn RS-R wheels are the biz on a Golf IMO.

Hmmm how much are we looking at for these?! i have only up to 800 pounds to spend, im thinking about buying the 17" audi reps VWspeed sells, wat you guys reckon?

Not to get into a protracted argument here but I have been following the VW scene for close to 10 years and believe me the euro styling is as old as the scene and shows no sign of dying out. It is a timeless styling statement which is undeniably cool in only a way a dub can be. I have personally just ordered some 9"x18" rims and plan to add 15mm spacers on the rear combined with a large drop on coilies. 9.5x17 BBS splits would just ooze euro sophistication and cool and will look good in 10 years time. Anyway that's my rant over and I in no way intend to put anyones nose out. Just adding to a healthy debate.

Anything smaller than 18's dont look right on a golf, the arches are too big. As you said your car is standard at the moment, if you buy 17's and then start doing other things to your car (e.g skirts, lowered) you'll just end up wanting 18's after a while.

Spend the extra cash and get 18's

[:O]

What a stupid thing to say when the car comes standard with 16's anyway and dosnt look to bad, i have 17's and very happy with them, they fill the arches fine and its a much more comfortable ride than my mates golf with 18's.

leave us 17'ers ALONE [^]

Rant over [:D]
