God just cause you have numbers spare, doesnt mean you have to use them!!!! 2 series??? Whats next the 10 series?

The 4 Series is next!
BMW are about to name all coupes / dropheads even numbers and all saloons / hatches odd numbers. The enxt 3 Series coupe will be the 4 series, and the 2 series is the 1 series coupe. Im almost thinking about considering becoming almost attracted to the 2 Series, it could work with the right wheels etc - has a hint of the Alfa GT about it. But the rest don't float my boat.

Holy smoke! Have BMW completely lost the plot? Have they become blind in Germany or something?
When the current 3 series is replaced there will no good looking BMW's at all. They are all fugly.
I think BMW sales will reflect the fact that their cars are not so desirable any more. Great as they may be, and as dynamically superior as they may be against the older BM's and current competitors, nobody will want to drive an ugly car. Think about how many 5 and 7 series BM's you see compared with their predecessors.
It will be a sad sad day when the whole range reflects the current designers inspirations. I am going to be interested to see how long it takes them to sack the lad responsible for these dogs dinners and update the entire range to make them look even half decent.
I love BM's but I would never buy one out of the current range.

I like the 2 series, but the rest of them are just terible!
I think MikeDav's attempt at the 2 is good, but BMs attemp aint too bad!
Nice photochop skill mate.
I think the 1 cab and 3dr hatch will probably sell, but the estate and saloon are just hidious, the saloon has a whiff of the focus saloon about it, need i say more!
