Just bought a 1.8T (drive by wire) and want to get a remap, seen the post already, but couldnt be bothered to run throught it all, so gonna "ask the audience" !

Revo claim similar power but charge ?499+vat..Jabba ?475 inc ? Not sure about APR, just seen people talk. Where have you had yours done, or where would you go ?

Well if you've got an AGU, you'd be better off giving Upsolute a try. That's the best one apparantely for your specific model!

Only costs ?305 aswell, compared to the others it's a lot cheaper! [^]

but you will see that the Revo non DBW cars get much better power figures than the UP cars ive seen dyno'd

Exactly, Carlos has 198bhp and 251lbs torque IIRC on his AGU.

Anyway Id personally recommend Revo 4bar for your DBW 1.8T.

Is it an AUM or AUQ with K03s or a ARZ with K03?

But we all know what Carl had to do to get James to produce those figures.... 250 lb/ft??? [:O]... Think calrs face looked like that when he 'payed' James for the RR plot

[:p]

Its horses for courses, power V pounds and other things to consider! Personally on a DBW ko3S car Revo + SPS3 is the way to go imho, even tho it is more ????

Revo +sps3 +vat is gettin on for the thick end of 800 quid!! could have a RR map and a downpipe for that sort of wedge!

Yes you could but would he be happy?

For me the extra bit of money was more than worth it.

He can always get the 4bar map and have the Revo dealer set his car up with their SPS3 then buy one later on if he really wants one.

I have a Jabba map and all the trimmings and I'm very happy... bet you would be hard pushed to tell the difference on the road and I'd have absoloutly no worries about sitting next to you on the drag strip/dyno/RR.....

ive had revo twice now. once on my ibiza cupra, and currently on my tdi. RR figures for my cupra was 207bhp with 248lbft, only mods at the time of RR was a jetex cat back system (RR was at Stealth racing). Im more than happy with the way it feels and drives. Revo may be more expensive than most, but you get what you pay for. Plus you dont need to buy an SPS controller right away. You could even buy a used one, plenty for sale!

I'm sure Cameron (MKIV Turbo) has a 4bar fuel reg on his car(AUM with jabba)? Maybe im imagining it.

My car's an AGU mate, but you are kinda right, but do have a Jabbasport map with 4 Bar fuel reg and K03s etc. Have had it for a year now without a single problem and more than happy with my car, it goes very well with a nice, smooth and progressive map. Haven't had any issues of judder like some people have with some Revo maps.

Am not wanting to spark off a riot here, but Gary: Have you ever owned a car with a Jabbasport map, or even been to been to their premises before?

Now I'm quite happy to admit that REVO product is a great product, my old man has it on his car and its fine. You however seem to be very critical of other tuners at the best of times, not just Jabbasport, without actually having any personal experience yourself, do you think it is correct to make a statement like the one you've made? There are other tuners outside the REVO circle you know!

What about Star Preformance???

Yes Star Performance maps are actually very good, Jim is very skilled and experienced but as the guy is in London it would be quite a treck for him.
