Am i likely to experiance any problems after? do i need to change the dump valve or air filter first? sorry for lots of qus but i am new to this as previously owned a civic type r for 3 years, cheers Alex

Hi. Depends what turbo you have K03 or what is known as the K03s. 2001 should be a AUM which will have a K03s (check the log book engine number or see if there is a cable attached to the throttle body, if there is not its a k03s). I've been looking in to this myself and £400 seems the money to pay so £199+ is good.

BHP for the K03 is 190-200ish and K03s is 200-210ish and as for problems..... I've not heard of any, all the intarnals should be fine at 200bhp (tho a developing problem may be quickened by more power being rammed through it?)

Replace the panel air filter for a lower resistance one would be cool [:)]

When I had mine done, I had a panel filter fitted and a Forge DV007P Runs very well.

All done by R-Tech top guys highly recomended

I had the same when I had mine remapped about 6 years ago, it's run like a dream since.
good price! they have recently dropped their prices it was £400 + vat which is what i paid 3 yrs ago for a stage 1.
There is £100 off the listed Revo prices. SO what there website quotes you minus another £100. Now go and have a look on how much you can get the AGU remap done for.

I have had a quote from awesome gti in manchester for my agu and it £116.33 including vat till the end of the month [Y]

Will agree with this, normally coil packs or mass air flow meter.

My own car killed 2 coil packs in a week after remap but been fine since.

Will be worth checking all boost hoses are tight and that your breather system and PCV system is in good order before remap too
i'd definitely uprate the dv and the panel filter. that's where i started and after stage 1 i was running 210bhp (clutch) and 230lbs/ft of torque which was fun...much better now though...stage 2 at 234bhp and 286lbs/ft!!
