The airbos is on the right hand side of your engine bay, directly above your battery. It has the large pipe with the MAF on leading towards the engine.
As for the engine cover, you'll see 4 very large screws... you just need to turn these 90degrees until they 'pop' up... do all 4 and the cover will lift off.
Even if it's not, you'll see the box to look for in that thread...
If there's something that looks like this, then your standard airbox has been replaced with a cone filter
And you'd be hard pushed to drive around with no air filter/box I reckon - all the crap would go straight into your carbuerettor & you'd have one pretty sick golfy!
it was me that raised the question as to where golf balls airbox was when he popped round to mine the other week. Where i *thought* the airbox should be was just this huge empty space as if it had been taken off. There was even brackets for what looked like where the airbox should attach too!! very strange.
