James,

It was from Germany (Wolfsburg). Fortunately my daughter is doing German for her A level so was able to e-mail the seller. Although probably not needed as he seemed to write pretty good english.

Sent ?32 by registered post (cost ?3.40) and it turned up after 8 days.

I was a bit concerned as this is the first time I bought something from europe, but it was hassle free.

regards

Andrew

go to your local post office, and ask for International Signed For, tell them you need insurance up to value will cost under ?5 to send, and I do this all the time, you may want to send ?130 as coins are too obvious.

Or if person has a PayPal account this is cheaper.

Hi there... my first post on here, so hi everyone!

Any chance someone could post a link to where I can find this on ebay? I've just ordered a MkV R32 (a real one!) to replace my TT and expect delivery early 2006. Would be nice to get the model though as it's in the same colour I've just ordered! Thanks!

Mark.

I used Airsure, The receiver had to sign for it and it was insured.

I did send cash, used a padded envelope and stuck it between a folded piece of card.

Bit of a gamble, but the seller didn't accept PayPay and it was insured.

For larger amounts, My bank (Nat West) will write you a cheque in euros, although they will probably want commission.

regards

Andrew
