its really not that hard to do though, although the 1.8 is probably the hardest to conver to.
if your not mechanicaly minded, youd be better off going for the v5 or v6. im starting my v6 in a couple of weeks and im not expecting it to take more than a week doing it every day, in a way, you could say its plug and play with the N/A engines. depending what gearbox you use, you dont even need to go inside the cabin of the car. the fact that mines going from 5 speed to 6 speed means i have to change the shifter, thats the only thing i have to touch inside the car
as for the conversion, off the top of my head, you would need:
1.8 engine, complete, all ancilaries, turbo, pipeing etc
gearbox
shifter
driveshafts
hubs
brakes
ecu
wiring loom
probably about it really
